Masterworks Chorale Choir is a Leeds-based touring choir founded and directed by Tim Knight since its inception in 2009.
The choir draws its members from a wide area and has established a reputation for inspiring audiences with fresh and distinctive performances, with the mantra of producing the finest music in the finest venues.
The choir endeavours to present all its concerts in interesting venues accessible to all. The focus is always on our audience and we are committed to bringing the enthusiasm, intentions and feelings of our chosen composers into the hearts of our listeners.
The ensemble has sung in cathedrals, churches and stately homes and in the home towns of many master Composers across the UK and overseas, with tours including Venice, Paris, New York, Lichtenstein, Prague, Scotland, East Anglia, the Western Lakes, Warwickshire, Worcestershire (we are pictured below singing in the impressive surroundings of Pershore Abbey on our 2023 tour) and this year back abroad to perform Erik Esenvalds' music in his home town of Riga in Latvia.
We enjoy performing in all venues and in conjunction with other choirs (including Leeds Male Voice Choir) and musical groups.
Masterworks Chorale embodies the choir spirit and invites you to join them on their vibrant musical journey.
