Masterworks Chorale Choir is a Leeds-based touring choir founded and directed by Tim Knight since its inception in 2009.

The choir draws its members from a wide area and has established a reputation for inspiring audiences with fresh and distinctive performances, with the mantra of producing the finest music in the finest venues. 

​

The choir endeavours to present all its concerts in interesting venues accessible to all. The focus is always on our audience and we are committed to bringing the enthusiasm, intentions and feelings of our chosen composers into the hearts of our listeners.    

 

The ensemble has sung in cathedrals, churches and stately homes and in the home towns of many master Composers across the UK and overseas, with tours including Venice, Paris, New York, Lichtenstein, Prague, Scotland and most recently, East Anglia. We performed in Howden Minster with music to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee and had a very successful tour last Autumn to Cumbria, singing at Lanercost Priory, St Bees Priory and St Michael's Church in Workington, celebrating the sea and music of the Early Saints who lived in the area. We will be on tour this year from 21st-23rd September in Warwickshire and Worcestershire and have some great venues lined up! More information can be found on our events page. We are also looking forward to singing with Leeds Male Voice Choir in November at a concert for remembrance.
